We are proud to congratulate Dorchester County Principal Vaughn D. Evans, Sr. on his appointment as Executive Director of the Bowie State University National Alumni Association, an incredible and well-deserved accomplishment.

Mr. Evans is currently the proud principal of North Dorchester Middle School, now entering his 44th year in education. A dedicated Bowie State University alum, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 1982 and a Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision in 1992. He currently serves as the BSU Upper Shore Alumni Chapter President, is a past National Alumni President, and is a life member of the BSU National Alumni Association.

Mr. Evans credits his success to three things: his faith, his family, and Bowie State University, values he models daily for our school community.
